I practice prehospital care as both a specialty care transport nurse and a Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN), which is specific to NJ and refers to nurses who have an endorsement following extensive paramedic training to act in the role of a paramedic on a mobile intensive care unit (paramedic truck.) I currently practice in both the prehospital world and the emergency care world, and am about to start practicing in the disaster world. These posts are for my own reflection, to build the tools I use to help educate myself and others, and to put my hot takes on current events and trends out in the world.
